(LGIH) surges on fresh buying strength in the wake of its latest report on home closings<\/figcaption><\/figure><br \/>\n<strong>Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.freestockcharts.com\/platform\/v1\" target=\"_blank\">FreeStockCharts.com<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\n<\/center><\/p>\n<p>The last catalyst for LGIH was <a href=\"http:\/\/investor.lgihomes.com\/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=935223\" target=\"_blank\">its report on home closings for September and the third quarter of 2015<\/a>. Once again, LGIH delivered for investors with strong numbers. From the report:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>934 homes closed for 3Q 2015 &#8211; <a href=\"http:\/\/investor.lgihomes.com\/releasedetail.cfm?ReleaseID=874424\" target=\"_blank\">68% year-over-year growth<\/a><\/li>\n<li>2,458 homes closed for the first 9 months of 2015 &#8211; a 44.2% year-over-year growth rate<\/li>\n<li>50 active selling communities &#8211; a 47% year-over-year growth rate<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This news sets up for another strong earnings report in November. The stock reacted by surging a whopping 9.7% on <a href=\"http:\/\/drduru.com\/onetwentytwo\/2015\/10\/05\/t2108-update-151005\/\" target=\"_blank\">a very strong day for the stock market<\/a>.
