The stock dropped directly from its long-term downtrend and its 50DMA.<\/p>\n<p>KBH&#8217;s turn in fortunes has transformed it from the second-best performing homebuilder in my universe for 2012 to a middling performer. (HOV): 38%<\/li>\n<li>PulteGroup, Inc. (PHM): 35%<\/li>\n<li>Lennar Corp. (LEN): 33%<\/li>\n<li>KB Home (KBH): 20%<\/li>\n<li>DR Horton Inc. (DHI): 18%<\/li>\n<li>Beazer Homes USA Inc. (BZH): 17%<\/li>\n<li>Toll Brothers Inc. (TOL): 12%<\/li>\n<li>Meritage Homes Corporation (MTH): 12%<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Shorts have also increased the pressure on KBH.
