Fortunately, A LOT of resources exist to help traders and investors of all types &#8211; daytraders, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.swingtradebot.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">swingtraders<\/a>, investors &#8211; and across a full range of risk spectra. Below I share my favorite YouTube channels and books on trading and investing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While I am not in the business of selling services or products for traders and investors, each of these channels do offer paid subscriptions and services. I am not directly promoting these offerings or assessing their fit for your particular needs. Please do your own evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trading and Investing Videos<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Singaporean investor and trader Adam Khoo has his own YouTube channel, but his best video may be his <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/vswa9HZv7q4\">interview with The HumbledTrader<\/a> in June, 2025. This interview is practically a masterclass in trading and investing and serves as a solid starting point for learning about trading and investing from a person with a wide variety of experiences. He is down to earth and speaks directly to beginners and newbies while at the same exhorting his audience to play the game, stay in the game, and learn about the game of the stock market. Wall Street Trapper is light on technical analysis. He focuses on fundamentals, rich narratives, story-telling, analogies, and metaphors to make the language of markets accessible to all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Adam Khoo (Piranha Profits)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@AdamKhoo\">Adam Khoo<\/a> also talks plain but communicates like an encyclopedia of market knowledge. In addition to the above interview with HumbledTrader, Khoo&#8217;s 2-part series on lessons he learned from Warren Buffet stand out as timeless classics (&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/-GhzkTTrb0I?si=1jbaqVySQX0FIdbf\">20 Buffett Lessons that Made Me Millions Part 1 of 2<\/a>&#8221; and &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/FobWI7tiLcM?si=z95G2xfOddl2LfwA\">20 Buffett Lessons that Made Me Millions Part 2 of 2<\/a>&#8220;). Khoo has a rigorous methodology for picking high quality businesses for long-term investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mary Ellen McGonagle by StockCharts TV<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLyNJu-3PikrTQoftiLdfZvWMmBcd5cW2Z\">Mary Ellen McGonagle<\/a> weekly delivers a detailed and comprehensive review of stock market technicals. Her presentation is dry but also pure poetry in its methodical precision and sharp observations. McGonagle leaves me feeling like I just took a tour of the entire stock market. she speaks She speaks to an audience already knowledgeable in technical analysis. Her core analytics tools are moving averages, support and resistance, RSI (relative strength indicator), and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.investopedia.com\/terms\/m\/macd.asp\">MACD<\/a> (moving average convergence\/divergence).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>ShadowTrader<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/@therealshadowtrader\">ShawdowTrader<\/a> speaks to an advanced audience of technical traders which includes detailed reviews of intraday trading action and futures markets. The content mainly focuses on daytraders and swingtraders. I mainly watch videos from Peter Reznicek who covers the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PL0KCtkUEf2m82wM0oD4PZdr2KEN5cQiNd\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">weekend edition<\/a>. Reznicek is a classic technician who could not care less about the fundamentals of the underlying companies. He mainly cares about price action, supply and demand. Reznicek also offers predictions for potential trading scenarios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Trading and Investing Books<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Below I post several books that teach how to trade and invest. These books (and much more!) helped give me a good grounding in market mechanics, investing philosophies, and trading methods. They form the basis of my musings on financial markets in <a href=\"https:\/\/drduru.com\/onetwentytwo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">One-Twenty Two<\/a>: a different narrative for students and fans of financial markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No magic trading system exists to guarantee profits and a comfortable retirement. Every trader and investor needs to construct their own well-informed plan tailor-made for their goals and objectives. Each person must ultimately construct how to trade and invest for themselves. Candlestick charting opened my eyes to a world I never knew existed. O&#8217;Neil has a lot of market insights cultivated over decades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/dp\/0071614133\/?&#038;_encoding=UTF8&#038;tag=drduru03-20&#038;linkCode=ur2&#038;linkId=913030818ee77b48080b065ed06e2de9&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325\" rel=\"noopener\">How to Make Money in Stocks &#8211; A Winning System in Good Times and Bad<\/a>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>Galgani wrote an &#8220;updated&#8221; version of O&#8217;Neil&#8217;s classic. Options trading can generate key buy and sell signals.
